About Interban Cream

Interban Cream is an ointment from Corise that contains mupirocin. Mupirocin is an antibiotic made for use on the skin.

Vets commonly use mupirocin for bacterial skin infections such as superficial pyoderma and infected cuts, hot spots and small wounds. Your vet will confirm that it suits your pet and set the dose and how long to give it.

How to Use

• Prepare the area. Clip long hair around the area if needed. Clean it gently and pat dry.
• Apply. Apply a thin layer to the affected area as often as your vet advises. Wash your hands afterwards.
• Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, unless the pack gives other storage directions. Keep out of reach of children.

Safety and Precautions

• For external use only. Keep it away from the eyes, mouth and inside the ears.
• Stop your pet licking the area until the ointment has soaked in. A cone collar can help.
