About Wigclav 250

Wigclav 250 from Wiggles is a tablet made with amoxicillin and clavulanic acid. Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum antibiotic from the penicillin family. The other ingredients support it, as set out below.

Vets commonly use this combination for skin and soft tissue infections, respiratory infections, urinary infections and wound infections. Your vet will confirm that it suits your pet and set the dose and how long to give it.

How to Use

• Dose. Give Wigclav 250 exactly as your vet prescribes. The dose depends on your pet's weight, age and condition.
• Giving a tablet. Place it at the back of the tongue, close the mouth gently and stroke the throat until your pet swallows. You can also hide it in a small piece of food if your vet says this is fine.

Safety and Precautions

• Finish the full course your vet prescribes, even if your pet seems better after a few days. Stopping early can let the infection come back.
