Vetalexin Syrup is an oral syrup from Indian Immunologicals that contains cefalexin. Cefalexin is a cephalosporin antibiotic that vets often use for skin infections in dogs.

How to Use

• Dose. Give Vetalexin Syrup exactly as your vet prescribes. The dose depends on your dog's weight, age and condition.
• Measuring. Shake well before use. Measure with the cup, dropper or a dosing syringe, not a kitchen spoon, and give slowly into the side of the mouth.
• Missed dose. Give it as soon as you remember, unless the next dose is nearly due. Never give two doses together.

Safety and Precautions

• Finish the full course your vet prescribes, even if your pet seems better after a few days. Stopping early can let the infection come back.
• Tell your vet about any past reaction to antibiotics.
