Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain Roasted Lamb Dry Dog Food, 12kg

About Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain Roasted Lamb

Taste of the Wild Sierra Mountain Roasted Lamb is a dry dog food from Taste of the Wild. It is made for dogs of all life stages, as stated by the brand.

Taste of the Wild is a pet food brand made by Diamond Pet Foods in the USA. Sierra Mountain Canine is made with lamb as the first ingredient and roasted lamb for flavour.

It is a grain free recipe. Vets are still studying a possible link between some grain free diets and a heart condition (DCM) in dogs. Ask your vet whether it suits your dog.

Available Pack Sizes

• Sierra Mountain Roasted Lamb, 2kg
• Sierra Mountain Roasted Lamb, 12kg (this page)

This is the largest pack, 12kg. It suits a pet already settled on this food, a big dog or a home with more than one pet. Once opened, dry food is best used within about 6 weeks, so a small pet may do better with a smaller bag.

Features and Benefits

• Lamb first. Lamb gives a red meat protein that many dogs enjoy.
• Omega fatty acids. Support healthy skin and coat.
• Probiotics. Taste of the Wild adds its own species specific probiotics after cooking to support digestion.
• Fruits and vegetables. Added for natural antioxidants.

How Much to Feed

• Daily amount. Follow the feeding guide on the pack for your pet's weight and activity, or your vet's advice.
• Split meals. Divide the daily amount into two or more meals.

How to Use

• Serving. Weigh the daily amount and split it into two or more meals. Dry food can be served as it is or slightly moistened.
• Storage. Close the pack tightly after each use, or keep the food in an airtight container, in a cool, dry place.
• Changing food. Switch to a new food over about 7 days, mixing a little more of it into the old food each day. This helps avoid an upset stomach.
• Water. Keep fresh, clean drinking water available for your dog at all times.

Safety and Precautions

• Health conditions. If your dog has a medical condition or is on a special diet, ask your vet before changing food.
• Upset stomach. Stop and speak to your vet if your dog has vomiting, diarrhoea or itchy skin after a new food.
