About Panacur 3.0 Vet Bolus

Panacur 3.0 Vet Bolus is a bolus from MSD Animal Health that contains fenbendazole. Fenbendazole is a broad-spectrum dewormer used in pets and livestock.

It is used for roundworms, hookworms and whipworms, some tapeworms, giardia in dogs (as decided by a vet) and gut and lung worms in livestock. Speak to your vet first if your animal is unwell, very young, old or on other medicines.

It can be used in different animal species, so the dose must come from your vet.

How to Use

  • Dose. Follow the dose on the pack or the dose your vet advises for your animal's weight.
  • Giving a bolus. Place the bolus well back on the tongue by hand or with a bolus gun, hold the mouth closed until the animal swallows, and offer water.
  • Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, unless the pack gives other storage directions. Keep out of reach of children.

Safety and Precautions

  • Fenbendazole usually works over several days of dosing. Follow the full course.
  • Observe the withdrawal period for milk and meat in livestock.
  • If your pet's condition does not improve, or gets worse, stop and see your vet.
