How It Works

How to Use

• Dose. Give Lixen Powder exactly as your vet prescribes. The dose depends on your bird's weight, age and condition.
• Mixing. Mix the measured dose into a small amount of food or water and make sure it is all eaten.
• Missed dose. Give it as soon as you remember, unless the next dose is nearly due. Never give two doses together.
• Finish the course. Keep giving it for as long as your vet says, even if your pet seems better, so the infection does not come back.
• Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, unless the pack gives other storage directions. Keep out of reach of children.

Safety and Precautions

• Stop and call your vet if your pet has vomiting, diarrhoea, a rash or swelling of the face.
• Do not use it if your pet has had a reaction to this type of antibiotic before.
• Tell your vet if your pet is allergic to penicillin.
• Tell your vet about any other medicines your bird takes, and if your bird is pregnant, nursing or has liver or kidney problems.
