About Kiwof Tablet
Worms are common in cats of every age. They rob nutrients, upset the gut and some can pass to people.
Kiwof Tablet is a tablet from Sava Vet that contains praziquantel. Praziquantel kills tapeworms.
It is used for tapeworms. Ask your vet whether it suits your cat, especially if your cat has a health condition or takes other medicines.
Key Ingredients
Active ingredients listed for this product. The exact strength is printed on the pack.
| Ingredient | What it does |
|---|---|
| Praziquantel | Kills tapeworms, including those spread by fleas. |
Features and Benefits
- Tablet form. Easy to store, and you can hide it in a small piece of food if your vet allows.
How It Works
- Praziquantel. It damages the tapeworm's outer skin and causes its muscles to cramp, so the worm detaches and is digested.
How to Use
- Dose. Follow the dose on the pack or the amount your vet advises for your cat's weight.
- Giving a tablet. Place it at the back of the tongue, close the mouth gently and stroke the throat until your pet swallows. You can also hide it in a small piece of food if your vet says this is fine.
- Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, unless the pack gives other storage directions. Keep out of reach of children.
Safety and Precautions
- Tell your vet about any other medicines your cat takes, and if your cat is pregnant, nursing or has liver or kidney problems.
