About Ihp Tablet

Ihp Tablet is an immunity supplement from Rectus for dogs and cats, in tablet form. It contains papaya leaf extract. Papaya leaf extract is a traditional herbal remedy that is popular for supporting platelet counts.

It is used for supportive care when platelet counts are low, alongside vet treatment, for example in tick fever and general recovery support. Give it alongside a complete and balanced diet, and speak to your vet first if your pet is unwell or on other medicines.

Ingredient Role
Papaya leaf extract Herbal extract

How to Use

  • Daily amount. Give the amount printed on the pack for your pet's weight, or the amount your vet advises. More is not better with vitamins and minerals.
  • Giving a tablet. Place it at the back of the tongue, close the mouth gently and stroke the throat until your pet swallows. You can also hide it in a small piece of food if your vet says this is fine.

Safety and Precautions

  • Supplements support a complete and balanced diet. They do not replace it, or any treatment your vet prescribes.
  • Low platelets can be serious. Use this only alongside the tests and treatment your vet prescribes.
