How It Works

Skin barrier. The outer layer of skin is held together by fats. LA and GLA help rebuild this barrier, so the skin holds moisture and resists irritants.
Inflammation. EPA and DHA from fish oil support the natural systems that calm inflammation, which plays a part in itchy skin.
New coat. Hair grows in cycles, so a new, shinier coat takes several weeks to come through. That is why VetPlus asks for at least 4 weeks.

How to Use

Giving it. Give the capsule on its own or mixed into food.
Every day. Give the daily amount for your pet's weight every day for at least 4 weeks.
Storage. Store at 15 to 25Â°C, away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.

Safety and Precautions

Find the cause. Itching and hair loss can come from fleas, mites, allergies or infection. Ask your vet to find the cause, as a supplement alone will not clear these.
Fish. The capsule shell is fish gelatine and the oil includes fish oil. Avoid it if your pet is allergic to fish.
Upset stomach. Start with the lower amount if your pet has a sensitive stomach. Stop and speak to your vet if vomiting or loose stools continue.
Not for people. VetPlus states Coatex is not for human use.
