CANI-D SYRUP

About Cani-d Syrup

Worms are common in dogs of every age. They rob nutrients, upset the gut and some can pass to people.

Cani-d Syrup is an oral syrup from Areion Vet that contains pyrantel and febantel. Pyrantel kills roundworms and hookworms. Febantel works with pyrantel against roundworms and whipworms.

It is used for roundworms and hookworms. Ask your vet whether it suits your dog, especially if your dog has a health condition or takes other medicines.

Features and Benefits

• Liquid form. Easy to measure for small pets and those who refuse tablets.

How It Works

• Pyrantel embonate. It paralyses the worms so they are passed out in the stool.
• Febantel. The body turns it into fenbendazole, which stops worms from absorbing sugar.

How to Use

• Dose. Follow the dose on the pack or the amount your vet advises for your dog's weight.
• Measuring. Shake well. Measure with the cup or a dosing syringe, not a kitchen spoon, and give slowly into the side of the mouth.
• Storage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, unless the pack gives other storage directions. Keep out of reach of children.

Safety and Precautions

• This product is labelled for dogs. Do not use it on cats or other animals unless your vet says so.
• Tell your vet about any other medicines your dog takes, and if your dog is pregnant, nursing or has liver or kidney problems.
